I chose hockey as my topic because it is the greatest sport in the world. The reasons why it's the greatest sport in the world is because they work so hard to keep improving as an individual. People don't understand how much work and deduction is put into it. Hockey is also a Canadian sport and I live in Canada so it makes sense. Hockey is very big in North America for it's well known skills, fights, and hitting. I like this sport not only does it bring joy and excitement, but also just gets you out of your seat and just the nerves and the blood rush. I also chose this subject because it defines me as a person. This is my passion what I love and is something that I am so fascinated about. Also, watching the pros like Sidney Crosby, Carey Price, Brendan Gallagher who are players I look up too. These players make me want to put more effort and work into my studies into my school work and sports . I am a really big sports fanatic and love to watch everything but my love is hockey. It is crazy to think on how much pros put into there hockey skills and what they do to get better and better every day. Plus only 0.01 percent of hockey players make the National hockey league. That's not even 1 % of kids. You would have to be able to work at that craft every single second to be able to get to that level of play and sometimes you just need some luck to get to that point. You also need to have a lot of focus. This is why hockey is my favorite sport in the world.

  9. I agree that Hockey is a great sport but its your favorite sport and I dont think that it is that greatest sport in the world. You said that the reason is because they put a lot of hard work into it but think about it, In basketball, Soccer, Football, volley-ball and a lot of other sports, they also put hard work into it. My point is that everyone has their own opinion.
