The Stanley Cup

Stanley Cup no background.pngThe stanley cup is one of the biggest prizes when it comes to sports. The NHL was founded in 1917 when there were 6 teams in the NHL ( Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Boston, Detroit, New York) After every decade the sport is played, The NHL adds on a peice to the cup. The writing on the Stanley cup is every player who has ever won the cup and teams. The Montreal Canadiens are the team with the most Stanley cup wins with 24 Stanley cups followed by toronto with only 13. The Stanley Cup was not always part of the NHL. In 1892 the Stanley family put on the first ever dominion hockey challenge which was after bought by the NHL and now the offical trophy of hockey. The Stanley cup is pretty much a dream to every hockey player around the world. To see the trophy is just a privilige. The stanley cup is the biggest prize in my opinion in every sport on this very planet. The first ever time the cup was awarded was in 1893 in montreal H.C. After the two leagues ( National hockey association) (pacific hockey association) combind then started the league. They`re are generally 3 stanley cups, there is the dominion challenge cup, the presidents cup and the replica cup. The replica cup is used when the team wins the cup and is on the ice. The Stanley cup is generally awarded to each player and everyone one of them get awarded the trophy atleast for a whole week to show it off from there familly. In my opinion, the Stanley cup is one of the best awards a person can ever get, its a hockey players dream to hold the cup up and win it with their team.

  1. Fantastic topic and a great start. I was very interested to read your blog about the attack on Ottawa and how it affected everything, including Hockey!

    A few issues:
    - A few run-on sentences , punctuation issues, and awkward sentences. Ex."They work so hard to keep improving as an individual."
    - Grammar issues - deduction vs dedication, its vs it’s, too vs to, we’re vs were, they’re vs there, etc.
    - 2nd post image not clearly related to your post.
    - A lot more of your opinion would be nice. Some posts have almost no opinion.
    - Font and size of font change too often.
Give your sources….otherwise it WILL be considered plagiarism.
